    General Manager


    Matt joins the Boyer Team with over 30 years of industry experience. Starting his career in 1988 at Boyer's first Dealership - Boyer Pontiac in Apsley, ON - Matt joined the Boyer Cobourg team in the Summer of 2018.

    From washing cars to vehicle sales, Matt has experience in every part of the industry and is a vital part of Boyer Cobourg's growth.

    A family man, Matt has been involved in the Northumberland community for over 20 years. Heavily involved with youth hockey, Matt currently works as a team trainer for his son's local AA Bantam team. He's an active volunteer and supporter of the YMCA Strong Kid program, specifically involved with the annual 'Turkey Trot' event, and he and his family spend much of their free time participating in multiple community clubs and events.

  • Jason Boyer
    Dealer Principal

    Jason comes from a lifetime of automotive experience, first entering the business by helping his father, Boyer Auto Group founder Michael Boyer, with their first location in Apsley, Ontario back in 1981. Most recently, Jason was the Senior Sales Manager at our flagship store in Pickering, Ontario: Michael Boyer Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC!

    Jason is a family man who enjoys playing golf and baseball in the Summer, hockey in the Winter, and spending as much time up at the Cottage as he can!

    He and his wife are proud parents to their beautiful 2 daughters.

  • Chris Armstrong
    Finance Manager / Sales

    Chris is a seasoned Sales Consultant with 14 years experience in the Automotive industry. He has spent most of his career selling Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram vehicles in Toronto and joined the Boyer Auto Group in November of 2017!

    Chris is a laid back Sales & Leasing Consultant that enjoys meeting new people and helping out in all aspects of the dealership.  As an added bonus, his strong relationships with National Banks and local lenders help him get you approved and stay on budget.

    You will sit with Chris on Delivery day to complete all necessary paperwork and he'll help you choose the right Extended Warranty and Protection Plan for your vehicle.

    Chris is a proud family man and father of 3 young children.

    Steve has been in automotive sales since 2017 and joined the Boyer Sales Team in 2019. Born and raised in Cobourg, Steve has a passion for vehicles and is the proud owner of a Jeep Wrangler. He enjoys helping his customers explore their options when shopping for a new vehicle and finds sharing his knowledge of the different models and trim packages exciting.

    Steven is a people person who loves spending time with his family and friends.

    Shop Forman

    Greg is the Shop Foreman for Boyer Cobourg's Mopar Service Shop and continuously works to keep our shop running smoothly and to ensure our customers receive the best possible customer service. He's worked for over 16 years as a vehicle technician, and is now a Chrysler Certified Specialist.

    Greg joined the Boyer Mopar Team shortly after we opened and was a vital part of transitioning and growing the Service Department.

    Greg is a family man with 6 children to keep him busy! He's heavily involved with demolition derbies and is the sitting V.P. of the Campbellford Fair.

    Russ has been in the Automotive Parts industry since 2010! He's has a wealth of knowledge having worked as a Parts Delivery person, a the Parts Counter and as a Department Manager. Russ is Mopar through-and-through and follows in his dad's footsteps with his love for muscle cars.

    Here at Boyer Cobourg Russ is a vital part of our Mopar Department. He ensures our customers receive the best customer service during every visit!

    Russ is happily married and when he isn't at work he enjoys reading and paint ball.

    Technician

    Dan is a Licensed Technician here at Boyer Cobourg. He's been in the industry since 2013 and spent the last 4 years working on MOPAR vehicles.

    Originally from Mississauga, he longed for a small town life style and currently resides in Peterborough.

    Dan started out as a Mountain Bike mechanic and spends much of his free time riding and fixing up bikes.

    Josh is an apprentice here in our MOPAR Service Department. Growing up in nearby Durham Region, Josh has been working in the Automotive Industry since high school and spent many years working on big rigs.

    He was excited to join the Boyer Team in 2019 and saw it as an opportunity to expand his learning and skill set.

    One of Josh's favourite pass times is drag racing.

    A busy mom of 3, Maria enjoys cooking, reading and gardening when she can find the time!

    Courtney is the Marketing & Branding Manager for the Boyer Auto Group. Working with all departments and multiple locations, Courtney has learned much about the industry quickly since joining in 2013. She helps to ensure our customers have the best possible experience with us, at all times.

    A vital part of any event, Courtney helps facilitate our sponsorship programs, community events and charitable outreach. She enjoys meeting our past, current and future customers out in the community and looks forward to working with the beautiful town of Cobourg for years to come!
